  1. I completely understand. I can also see it both ways which is why I was hoping we could change it to where either the light barer doesn't work for the spear, or the spear has to be used in deeper wildy. But yeah I understand the whole 8 brew tank situation. I just know I've been hit by the spear in d zone dungeon skilling atleast 2 or 3 times in a single day on the weekend. But yea I hate having to be the one to say it but just seems to be a real issue. Atleast how many times they can spear you I guess. If that could be cut back some I think it wouldn't be as big of an issue. But most pkers in Max at d zone dungeon aren't the average pker and usually its the same group of kids who do it. But yeah I don't think removing it is the answer but maybe changing the special amount needed to use it could help? I don't think that would devalue it at all and would still make it viable in situations. Just not as over powered.
  2. Currently a 7+ year player of roatz. And had 2 of my friends who recently started last weekend both quit due to the same issue. And both really liked the server. The issue being the spear mechanic along with the light barer and barrage. As of right now. You regain special so quickly with the ring. That if you're caught in let's say the extreme Donato zone, there's really no escaping or countering it. They literally do a barrage, freeze you, do the DD mechanic where they can dps you but you can't attack back, wait 2 seconds before freeze is our. And then re barrage you after they spear you. Theres literally no getting more than a tile or two in between freezes. Along with my other two friends I've seen countless people do this in deep wildy. And i feel like it should be addressed. There should never be a mechanic that can not be combatted or countered in the wildy especially not on a pk server. My fix would be changing the amount of special used on a spear when in wilderness. Making it double. The cost. Would atleast give someone a viable chance to counter or escape. A barrage is one thing but bring specced into a null 3 tics where you literally can't do anything. That's broken. Another would be making it so you can only use the spear in deep wild 45+ wildy. But it ruins the experience for a lot of new players. Just my thoughts though. I love that there's risk vs reward at revs. But not when it's leveraged so far into the pkers favor opposed to the pvmer having a chance. Just some thoughts though. It's unfortunate my buddies kept having the same issue over and over across the entire weekend though.
