Rule #1: 💰 Real World Trading (RWT), Wealth Transfers & Loans Players of the Roat Pkz community are not allowed to buy, sell, give, donate, or trade Roat Pkz items or wealth in exchange for real-world money, external currencies, items, services, or anything else unrelated to Roat Pkz. Attempting, arranging, advertising, or initiating a Real World Trade may also result in punishment, even if the transaction is never completed. Any scams, losses, or disputes resulting from Real World Trading are entirely at your own risk and will not be handled or refunded by the Roat Pkz Staff Team. The only official place to purchase Roat Pkz items or wealth is https://roatpkz.com/donate/. Purchasing Roat Pkz items or wealth from any other player, website, service, or source is against the rules. → Real World Trade Report Commission If you have recently purchased wealth from another player, you can report the seller and receive 10% of their total wealth as a reward. To qualify: The purchase must have taken place within the last few weeks. Players who genuinely come forward and report a previous purchase will generally not be punished for the disclosed transaction. However, this protection is not guaranteed where we believe the purchase was made to exploit the reporting system or deliberately engage in RWT without consequences. The evidence provided must be strong enough for us to take action and jail the seller. Reports can be submitted privately or publicly. If you choose to report privately, the seller will not be told that you reported them unless you give us permission to reveal it. ⚠️ RWT Baiting does not count. (when you offer someone something so unreasonable that he'd be stupid to turn it down). ‼️ Submitting fake, manipulated, misleading, or out-of-context evidence may result in your own account being permanently banned. ⚠️ Important: This program exists to encourage players who have previously participated in RWT to come forward, it is not a license to RWT without consequences. Purchasing wealth with the intention of reporting the seller afterward, repeatedly purchasing wealth and reporting sellers, or otherwise using this policy as protection to intentionally participate in RWT may result in punishment. Amnesty for buyers is granted at the Staff Team’s discretion and is intended for genuine self-reports, not deliberate RWT activity. Please file your report through a Discord Ticket here. → Handing out debt and/or loaning items If you lend wealth to another player and they fail to repay it within a reasonable timeframe, the transaction may be treated as Real World Trading and could result in punishment. Please refer to Loans & Borrowed Items (#4) below for detailed information on debt/loans. Only lend wealth to players you trust, and avoid transactions that could reasonably appear to staff as disguised RWT. Exceptions may apply in clear, legitimate cases. As an example, handing out debt to YouTubers who are already being paid to promote the game is very unlikely to be viewed as Real World Trading. However, handing out debt to a player with a history of spending money on the game, who then stops spending as soon as they receive debt from you and never repays it, would be much more likely to be viewed as Real World Trading. Rule #2: 🔐 Account Trading, Selling & Sharing Players of the Roat Pkz community are not allowed to buy, sell, trade, or otherwise transfer ownership of accounts. This includes exchanging accounts for Roat Pkz wealth, other accounts, real-world money, or anything else of value. Buying, selling, or trading accounts may result in an immediate and potentially permanent punishment. Account sharing is allowed at your own risk. If you choose to share your account with another person, you remain responsible for everything that happens on that account. The Roat Pkz Staff Team will generally not recover lost items, restore wealth, or reverse punishments resulting from account sharing. This includes situations where the person you shared your account with steals items, breaks the rules, or causes the account to be punished. Only share your account with someone you fully trust. Rule #3: 🎭 Impersonation of Others Players of the Roat Pkz community are not allowed to impersonate other players or staff members. Impersonating a staff member may result in an immediate ban. Impersonating another player in an attempt to deceive others, damage their reputation, or get them punished will be treated as a serious offense and may result in severe punishment. Rule #4: 🔫 Scamming, Theft & Account Security Players of the Roat Pkz community are not allowed to scam, steal from, or access another player’s account without permission. This includes, but is not limited to: Accessing, tampering with, or attempting to gain access to another player’s account without their consent. Stealing items or wealth through trust trades, fake doubling schemes, luring, deception, or similar scams. Knowingly taking advantage of another player through dishonest agreements or false promises. Certain forms of trade deception, such as switching items in the trade screen or changing Duel Arena rules, may not always result in punishment. However, staff may still take action in cases involving large amounts, repeated reports, or continued behavior after a warning has been issued. → Loans & Borrowed Items If you lend another player items or wealth and expect them to repay you, you should have clear written evidence showing that the player agreed to repay the loan by a specific date. Without sufficient evidence of the agreement, staff may be unable to recover or return your items, although the other player may still be punished depending on the circumstances. If scammed or loaned items cannot be recovered and the offending player does not have enough wealth to repay the victim, the offending player may receive a jail punishment and a full bank wipe. Once those punishments have been issued, the case will be considered closed. Staff will not continue monitoring the offending account for future wealth, and the victim is not guaranteed reimbursement at a later date. Rule #5: 🤖 Cheat Clients, Bots & Third-Party Software Players of the Roat Pkz community are not allowed to use any third-party software, client, script, or tool that provides an unfair advantage or automates gameplay. This includes, but is not limited to: Cheat clients or modified third-party clients. Auto-clickers, bots, macros, or scripts used to automate actions such as skilling, PvM, or other gameplay. Programs such as AHK when used to automate or assist gameplay. DDoS tools, websites, or other software used to disrupt or gain an unfair advantage over other players. Any unauthorized third-party software that gives a player an advantage over others may result in punishment. Rule #6:🐛 Bug Abuse & Exploitation Players of the Roat Pkz community are not allowed to knowingly abuse bugs, glitches, unintended mechanics, or other game errors to gain an unfair advantage or benefit themselves or other players. This includes, but is not limited to: Abusing bugs to gain or duplicate items, wealth, points, rewards, or other benefits. Exploiting unintended mechanics during PvP, PvM, minigames, trading, or other activities. Using bugs to avoid damage, death, restrictions, requirements, or intended game mechanics. Repeatedly abusing an unintended interaction after becoming aware that it is a bug or exploit. Teaching, assisting, or intentionally helping other players abuse a serious bug. If you discover a bug that could be abused, you are expected to report it to staff rather than take advantage of it. Accidentally encountering a bug will generally not result in punishment. However, knowingly continuing to abuse it after discovering how it works may result in severe punishment depending on the impact and extent of the abuse. Rule #7: 📈 Reward Farming, Boosting & Exploitation Players of the Roat Pkz community are not allowed to abuse, manipulate, or exploit game mechanics in order to unfairly obtain PKP, emblems, event rewards, killstreaks, or any other in-game rewards. This includes, but is not limited to: PKP farming or boosting, such as intentionally allowing another player or alternate account to repeatedly kill you for PKP, killstreaks, or other rewards. Bounty Hunter or emblem farming, including arranging kills with another player or alternate account in order to obtain emblems without legitimately fighting for them. Selling or purchasing emblem kills or otherwise arranging kills specifically for Bounty Hunter rewards. Abusing voting, minigames, or other game mechanics in order to gain rewards unfairly. Seasonal event pile farming: players may only collect event piles on a maximum of two characters. Using more than two characters to collect piles may result in punishment depending on the extent of the abuse. Any other form of coordinated farming, boosting, or manipulation intended to gain rewards without legitimately participating in the activity may also result in punishment. Rule #8: 💬 Offensive Language, Harassment, Discrimination & Spamming Players of the Roat Pkz community are not allowed to excessively harass, insult, discriminate against, or spam other players. Minor flaming is generally tolerated, especially while PKing, as PvP can be competitive. However, excessive flaming, harassment, obscene language, or behavior intended to repeatedly provoke or target another player may result in punishment. Discrimination against another player based on race, religion, gender, age, nationality, or similar personal characteristics is prohibited and may result in more severe punishment. → Spamming Players are not allowed to continuously spam Yell or the normal chat box. Buying or selling advertisements may be sent through Yell once per minute. At home, normal-chat advertisements may be sent approximately once every 3 seconds. Players are encouraged to use the Autochat feature. Clan recruitment advertisements through Yell or Autochat are limited to once per minute per clan. Only one member of a clan may advertise at a teleport location at a time. If another clan member has recently advertised there, other members must wait before advertising again. Excessive or disruptive spam of any kind may still result in punishment, even if it does not fall under one of the specific examples above. → Streamer Giveaway Codes Sharing streamer giveaway codes in public chat, yell, or clan chat is not allowed and may result in a mute. Use of offensive, discriminatory, harassing, or excessively spammed messages through Yell may be treated more seriously due to the number of players who can see them. Rule #9: 📢 Advertising & External Promotion Players of the Roat Pkz community are not allowed to advertise or promote other game servers, websites, services, or communities through in-game chat, Yell, private messages, or other Roat Pkz platforms. This includes sharing links, names, invite codes, or directing players to external services without permission. Advertising another game server may result in an immediate IP mute or IP ban. Advertising Discord servers is only allowed if the server has been approved by Gretar (If a Discord server has a direct command to it, it has been approved, please contact Gretar on Discord to get your server approved). Unapproved Discord advertisements in public chat or Yell may result in punishment. Players should also be cautious when visiting links shared by others, as external websites may contain malicious or unsafe content. Rule #10: 🔒 Privacy, Doxing & Personal Information Players are not allowed to collect, share, publish, threaten to reveal, or otherwise expose another player’s personal information without their explicit consent. This applies in-game, on Roat Pkz-related Discord servers, and in private messages connected to the Roat Pkz community. Personal information includes, but is not limited to, real names, home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, IP addresses, social media accounts, workplaces, family information, and private photos or videos. Sharing information about a player’s friends or family may also be treated as doxing. Threatening to dox someone is punishable even if the information is never actually shared. This includes joking threats, indirect threats, hinting at someone’s identity, partially revealing information, or attempting to bypass the rule in a way that allows others to identify or locate that person. More serious cases include sharing home addresses, phone numbers, full identities, private photographs, family information, or other sensitive information that could put someone’s privacy or safety at risk. Severe doxing may result in long-term or permanent in-game punishment and a permanent ban from Roat Pkz-affiliated Discord servers. Comments or insults that do not reveal private or identifying information are not considered doxing. For example, making a general comment about someone’s appearance, age, voice, or occupation without revealing actual personal information would not normally qualify as doxing, although it may still violate the harassment or offensive language rules. If you believe someone is doxing you or another player, save screenshots, chat logs, or other evidence and report it to staff immediately. Do not retaliate, threaten the other player, or escalate the situation. Rule #11: ⚔️ Griefing & Unfair Gameplay Assistance Players of the Roat Pkz community are not allowed to intentionally grief, disrupt, or manipulate gameplay in a way that unfairly interferes with other players. This includes, but is not limited to, intentionally going AFK in team-based minigames, sabotaging your own team, destroying barricades to assist the opposing team, boxing or interfering with minigames such as LMS, or intentionally manipulating bosses to make them more difficult for other players to kill. Players are allowed to use multiple accounts in the Wilderness, but alternate accounts may not be used to gain an unfair PvP advantage. This includes bringing another account to attack, block, scout, assist, or otherwise interfere with a player who is already fighting your main account. Suiciding at ::Royal or ::Divine to obtain PvP immunity is also prohibited. Players are not allowed to drop food for another player in Divine or Royal to help them tank a PKer. Any coordinated behavior intended to unfairly disrupt or manipulate PvP, PvM, minigames, or other gameplay may result in punishment. Players are also not allowed to use alternative accounts (alts) in the Divine Zone or Royal Zone to avoid the PvP Blacklist. Rule #12: 🗡️ Ragging & Rushing Players are not allowed to excessively rag or rush other players at Meth, Easts, Royal, Divine, Wests, Risk, Graves, or Brid/EdgePvP. Staff may take action immediately if this behavior is witnessed. Ragging or rushing includes, but is not limited to, repeatedly attacking players who are clearly not interested in fighting, repeatedly PJing the same player, constantly attacking with overhead prayers after being asked not to, repeatedly attacking and teleporting away, repeatedly teleblocking players and leaving, or demanding payment from players in order to let them PvM. At Edge, some ragging and rushing is tolerated due to the nature of the area, but it may still become punishable if it is excessive or persistent. To report ragging or rushing at Edge, at least 10 minutes of continuous video evidence is required. For other locations, at least 3 minutes of video evidence is required. Rule #13: 🚫 Punishment Evasion Players of the Roat Pkz community are not allowed to evade or bypass punishments issued by staff. This includes attempting to avoid a mute, jail, account ban, IP ban, MAC ban, or any other restriction by using another account, device, IP address, or similar method. Anyone sharing an account with a player that is evading a punishment may lose their account. Punishment evasion may result in the original punishment being extended or upgraded to a more severe punishment. Rule #14: ⚠️ Common Sense Not every form of abusive or disruptive behavior can be specifically covered by these rules. Deliberately exploiting loopholes, technicalities, or unintended gaps in the rules may still result in punishment. Players are expected to use reasonable judgment. If it is clear that an action is abusive, dishonest, disruptive, or goes against the intended spirit of the rules, staff may take action even if that exact behavior is not explicitly listed. ‼️ Violations of these rules may result in temporary or permanent punishment depending on the severity and circumstances of the offense ‼️ 14 1 1
Gretar Posted August 10 Author Report Posted August 10 The Roat Pkz rules have been cleaned up and reorganized to make them easier to read, understand, and enforce. Several outdated or overlapping rules have been merged, and the wording has been modernized and clarified throughout. The main changes are the new RWT Report Commission, which allows players to report recent RWT sellers and potentially receive 10% of the seller’s total wealth as a reward, as well as clearer debt and loan rules, including when unpaid loans may be treated as disguised RWT and what evidence is required for staff to assist with loan disputes. 1
