Right now the ::networth, ::current-networth & ::max-networth commands are completely & absolutely useless because they only display into your private chat & it's much easier & faster to check them by clicking into the Account Management button. You can easily view the history of any item to validate if you think it's inaccurate. It's an economy based on supply/demand and this is already good enough. These are decent estimates for the average player. This is what the average price of items in TP (30d) is already doing? If you're basing prices on a shorter time window, say 1d or 7d, then you're likely to catch more outliers that would skew prices of items that would otherwise balance out over time. If I sell a pair of claws on TP for 1.6m on TP (max price) and someone buys them, average price would be significantly higher in a shorter span of time rather than within the 30d window. In the end it's supply/demand based so you can't really manipulate prices if people are still willing to pay the amount. This is why you can also put buy offers and set a price you'd be willing to buy items for. When items aren't selling, people will eventually use "best buy offer" for listing items in the TP. Just add a section under the quest tab (main) with networth details, and have it function similarly when clicking on the PK points. Very simple and straightforward update. The entirety of the code already is there, just serving another purpose. @Gretar could probably add this in 30 seconds. Quote

These are decent estimates for the average player. Guide Prices are fixed by Gretar, they don't show the average 30day middle price. Trading post middle price shows the average 30day price which makes middle price more accurate than Guide Price, which is not hard because Guide Prices are absolutely wrong, but still less accurate than calculating the middle price according to the all-time trades. Ultor Ring Guide Price was 600K until Gretar read this post & updated it to 1.2M genius. Funny thing is Ultor Ring middle price is almost 2M now so it's still inaccurate. Just less than before. You right here, for the average player this would just be a list to check out or another trading post feature. It's not really needed, just an idea to help the poor players merch & make the trading post cooler. Yes the majority of the list would be filled with holiday customs. The same as the previous one this would be useless for the average player. But for ultra rich merchers it would be great to have a list of the top 100 most expensive RoatPkz tradeable items as long as it's showing trading post middle price because ::prices show wrong Guide Prices. INSTAURI Posted June 27 Author Report Posted June 27 @Gretar I FOUND ANOTHER BUG WITH TRADING POST MIDDLE PRICES OF ITEMS WITH MULTIPLE ITEM IDS ON COLOR CHANGE LIKE THE FLYING CARPET. EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE THE SAME ITEM TRADING POST CALCULATES DIFFERENT MIDDLE PRICES FOR EACH DIFFERENT COLOR. Quote
