I donated so I was able to use these weapons pvp... Now I can't use them? that was my whole point in donating.

What are peoples opinions on this topic?

my opinion - chaotics=cancer

You can still use them, but only in fun PK or verses monsters. The reason is to make PK'ing fairer for non-donators, and also because the server is moving towards OSRS format, where these "OP" weapons do not exist. You still have access to some exclusive capes, the stat hammer and some spirit shields - make use of them while you can!

I think more donation benefits will be added soon to counteract this (said I think, so don't quote me on it!), feel free to suggest some ideas. Since I personally have had the donator status for several years, I feel I've had way more than my dollars worth so I'm not complaining. But, I think the ability to save extra custom kits, yell, spec restore, and a couple of NPCs at a private area are still worth donating for. I would donate just for those if I hadn't already.

Of course you may not feel the same way. Which has just given me an idea! Since donations are non-refundable (basically just a way of supporting the server, any reward is merely an expression of gratitude from the owner - not a purchase, despite us treating it as such), I was thinking there could be a an in-game NPC at the donatorzone who will swap your donator rank for a donator ticket and then teleport you home. He could charge a small PKP ticket fee for doing such a thing, but it would at least allow you to sell the rank to re-claim some of the amount you spent. It would also allow people to transfer the rank between their accounts (I've seen people request this before, but currently it isn't done). It could work, but from a business point of view it wouldn't be a good move for Gretar LOL!

Chaotics have been disabled in PVP combat only (it works in Funpk and PVM). We can always re-poll to make chaotics enabled in PVP.

u can always pk at funpk, chaotics are overpowered and dont belong on roatz since its oldschool

a few other new items were removed from the game altogether but the reason chaotics were disabled is so ppl who donated cant complain

Chaotics were nerfed and still op. Just use them at funpk or pvm.

cmaul was indeed op but thats why people donated for :P. didnt even care that it got disabled in pk

But putting bandos in pkp shop was a stupid idea in my opinion.

abby dagger should be brought in as a donor item since its not even that good (it can be ofc), it needs to come in the game, its non cancerous and its sexy

Well after nerfs it was useless already so It doesn't really matter if you use chaotics or regular gear. Also this post proves that you can't pk ;>

amulet of the damned for donors and the chance to have elite void (not free after donating)

just anything that gives a slight advantage to someone who donates so there is actually a reason for people to donate
