Hi welcome to my suggestions thread I've complied a list of what I personally think would help the server so may have been listed before but I will bring attention it again so pepole are aware. Also everyone is entitled to their opinions feel free to voice them. Hopefully some will get fixed and added that is the aim of this thread this may be subject to change such as pictures.

Excuse my layout if it is messy having a problem with the forums not letting me post imgur links so that has disabled my format but I would like to get this put out there so people can see the suggestions, so if you have any disagreements please comment.

Combat:

Magic distance I was 16 tiles away as soon I clicked the target my character ran to tile 14
casted barrage and moved automatically to till 12 and continued casting barrage.

Range bolting crossbow 14 steps away when attack target you run 9 steps from the 14th tile and
you shoot the bolt on the 9th title, after the bolt is shot the character automatically runs to
title 7 if unfrozen creating a shorter range distance.

Also Long ranging should give defensive XP with XP on or off regardless this stops pures for example ranging from their exceeded range distance when frozen when not in range of using rapid.

Bug #1 Melee attack pathing stops on the diagonal tile then moves next to target continuing the attack this is wrong.

Magic splashes hit 0 zeros they should just show the splash animation with 52xp without the 0,
looks very untidy.

Range tick is slower and too far away after shooting bolt ( animation needs to be fixed also )

This range tick is too fast it delays the combat it should be half a second faster then the
original picture (subject to tests)

Whip should give shared XP when on lash as a pure this eliminates 1 tick whipping on lash when
switching from crossbow that is on rapid, it should give defensive XP regardless of XP lock or
not. 

Correcting prayer drain rates, prayer drains too quickly even with Protect Melee up by itself, i
will post the formula if needed.

Switching cycles need improving more ability to one tick depending on clicks. without waiting a
whole 2 and a half seconds to switch back. Will include examples 

 


Pre Made kits:

Pure NH

Food will be shark Since all preset gear will require universal food such as sharks

basic setup for NHing how it should be, without the super attack potion, magic potion, chef hat
and whip unnecessary. This gear in the picture is much more cleaner.

Others such as Main Hybridding, Maxed Melee will be done and added with gear pictures.

Also barrow & bandos presets will need removing since they aren't spawn able.

Wilderness teleports:


Glory teleporting in all wilderness leaves below 30 even under attack, with the exception of
when you are teleblocked you can't teleport

Universal tabs make them 1 pk point as they are very handy with this disconnections and client
crash bugs everyone should be able to purchase it.

Implementing Lumbar Yard teleport will allow quick access to Jad at level 8 and easts above.

Allowing the use on teleport tabs in the wilderness under attack giving a option between Universal and normal tabs

as with universal tabs you can set a location and with regular tabs you can't.

Price changes: 

Some items deserve a value to keep pking more balanced as of right now. Purchasing the items
with PKP will add risk value to the "ordinary everyday Roat pkz items"


Granite maul 500 PKP, This weapon should certainly require PKP to purchase it, also fixing 1
ticking (Insta special) would be benefit it being a PKP store item.


Crystal Shield 1k PKP as it's auto kept on death unless protected will turn into seed and repaired
at strange old man for 110 PKP

Crystal Bow 1k PKP as it's auto kept on death unless protected will turn into seed and repaired

Rune defender 50 PKP

Since Dragon defender is 800 PKP , why not make rune defender 50 PKP instead of being free since
torso is 40 fighter hat is 20 and firecape is 60 I see that reasonable as it's auto keep.

Amulet of Fury 300 PKP

Dragonfire shield 2k PKP Also add to Jad drop table also fixing the special it should not stack the hit and make it require charges
 
Saradomin godsword 1.8k PKP

Zamorak Godsword 1.5k PKP

Bandos Godsword 1k PKP

Saradomn Sword 800 PKP

Toktz-ket-xil 80 PKP

Abbysal whip 110 PKP

Adding Crystrals (Pegasian, Primordial, Eternal) To PKPshop and to Jad's Drop table.

Primordial Crystal 680 PKP + Dragon boots 70 PKP = 750 as Primordial Boots

Eternal Crystal 680 PKP + Infinity boots 70 PKP = 750 as Eternals Boots

Pegasian Crystal 680 PKP + Rangers Boots 70 PKP = 750 as Pegasian Boots

Prices can be discussed

Items Removals & Replacements:

Remove PvP armours Vesta's, morrigans, statius & zuriels.

Remove Dragon Full helm possible PKP purchase

Remove Occult necklace from vote store place in Battle mages drop table ( Mage Arena Mini game )

Remove Rocktails

Remove Donator cape can be replaced with Max cape obtainable for donators

The most controversial capes in Roat pkz, Water cape, earth cape & dragon cape I think they
should get removed without a doubt they look very unsightly and give way too much bonus.
Possibily replacing them with:

Zamorak max cape replaces Dragon cape 

Guthix max cape replaces Earth Cape

Saradomin max cape replaces Water cape

All will require correct stats

Pker's cape should be replaced with a game title when 1000 kills has been achieved  I presume: [Pker] would
make a good fit. 

 

Consumables:

Removing Rocktails will introduce more food into the game, Dark crabs, Anglerfish etc.

Sharks should be the universal food in presets setups. 

Adding Dark crabs 8 PKP each
 
Anglerfish but will be cost 25 PKP each

Add Guthix Rests 10 PKP each

Add Pizzas 2 PKP

Recoils 6 PKPeach

Phoenix necklaces 15 PKP each

Cooked Karambwan 1 PKP each

Combat potions 2 PkP each

Prices can be discussed

Minigame (money making PKP Points)

As far as making money via Minigames the only way I can see viable is tournaments at the moment,
but that is for 4 players who will be guaranteed PKP. A wilderness Activity will be best because
it allows more players to be at one spot ensuring activity around the clock if it is a tried and
testing method of gaining PKP more players will be involved.

Adding Mage Arena, You can only cast magic once inside the arena only no range or melee.

The Minigame will consist of Battle mages, they will drop the following

Infinity hats
Infinity top
Infinity bottoms
Infinity bootsMage's books
Master wands
Occult neckalces 

They can be sold to the PKP store for PKP a good way to earn PKP within the wilderness that
consist of PvM and will also attract pkers to the spot also with Jad spawning every hour the
wilderness will have a lot of activity.


 

Other Misc:

Lesser demons hit to often on Armour and with on prayer (protect melee)

Remove barrows brothers from magic bank

Moving ::Brid Zone to ::wests keep it inside the wilderness not im kbd's lair

Pathing still needs correcting

Keeping the Default character alive

Outfit store This store will require small amount of PKP to purchase outfits like god robes, mitres, wizard
g, wizard t &headbands etc just a overall cosmetic store.

Robin hood for PKP or clue scrolls

Killstreaks

As of now you loose your killstreak & skull in duel arena, fun pk and in tournaments. I think you should be able to keep your killstreak because you have obtained it from the wilderness

Also in tournaments specifically in Pure NH brew cap should be 1 dose Saradomin brew (4) , remove robin hood hats, ranger boots, vls, gmaul, obby maul all of the non pure NH gear which makes it much more balanced.

okay i overreacted a bit, i support the mage arena, gmaul should be atleast 1k.. (way too op).. agree 100% it needs more pkp making methods, only methods are wilderness bosses which is annoying because roatpkz is literally rag city and you can't go bossing without being hit by a clan of 500 retards/tbers. i don't understand why a dragon defender costs more than a dh set, when dh hits 60s at 75 hp, a bit pricey, should be dropped to like 200-300 pkp tbh. Support cape changes, the donator features are pointless at this point unless you're getting super for ::bank and the 2 min spec restore. Well thought out, support most of it.

So on the shark as food/ removing rocktail this is a bad suggestion but just my opinion because I see nothing wrong  with rocktail, remember this is not osrs.

The crystal shield and bow to be 1k is just a why. There aren't many shields for people to use at the moment and you would like more to be taken away which confuses me.

Basically you wanting to remove or change the price of all the items we use right now would make it hard for new players to get started. People play roat because of the leisure of being able to spawn what you want and just go out to pk. People are playing a spawn server not because they want to try, but because they just want to get on and have fun for a little. You want to remove too many things and make them pkp. Also when moving ::brid to ::west, this has happened before but was changed back to kdb lair. Roat is different for reasons like the ones you're trying to change and by not copying other servers we can continue to attract new players. On some of the combat bugs though I think they're good suggestions.
