  1. I see your point and I partially agree with the 3 minute cooldown applying mid-fight being a bad mechanic, but in regards to the 12 brews, risk protection and youtuber content here are my counter-arguments: 1. I fully agree that surviving is not so hard with 12 brews, yet the issue remains that often times it's the pvmer who is on scroll timers and the pker isn't, so while the pvmer might not outright die to the pker, having them allowed to repeatedly attack the pvmer is anti-fun and the time waste disproportionately affects the pvmer compared to the pker. 2. In regards to the risk defence (I don't really get what would change by removing it) let's say raggers could only attack while you're out of combat with npcs, this might help with nex, callisto etc, but the rev killers would still be getting screwed over cause they kill the rev in like 3 seconds and then they'll just get ragged right after. 3. Content. I don't know who's watching content of killing pvmers at royal, I don't think it should be free farm at all and I think two attempts at killing them is enough. Anyway the majority of the content around roatpkz barely has anything to do with royal zone it's mostly gambling, riskzone, treasure hunts, tourneys, unboxings and pk vids where the player fights other pkers. Yes someone could make content around rushing at royal, but on the contrary you could argue that someone also might want to make pvm based content at royal and they'd be hindered by the way things are set up now. My final point is that I'm not hoping for royal zone to be some pacifist, violence-free zone. I literally think more pvmers would come to royal as a result of the changes I suggested and then there'd be more for the picking for any pkers. If we screw over the pvmers too much then there'll be none left and no one gets to have fun.
  2. The Problem The current state of ::Royal is too skewed in favour of rushers and raggers (I'm defining 'raggers' as brids on their 3rd+ attempt trying to kill a pvmer). Since pvmers don't like speaking up about this at the risk of getting ridiculed, I'm making this post. Rushers A rusher can constantly evade the 5 minute cooldown timer because their fights never last that long, and while there may be counter-arguments such as: 1. 'Just use prayers' 2. '::blacklist them' 3. they're putting themselves at risk too, you can 'try to antirush' To these I would say that even if you do these things the net result is problematic, yes you can pray against the rushes, but then you're going to have to bank each time they do that which is anti-fun, unless you want to sit on lowered food & resources and give the brids some good odds of killing you. Having 1 ::blacklist use per hour is simply not enough for how many players will try to attack you in a 1 hour session, and finally antirushing means you'll be risking more (as you'll need a weapon to antirush with) with less inventory space for food when a brid attacks you. Not all players are pkers and we shouldn't expect the general population of royal roatz players to be able to anti as part of their inherent skillset. Brids Brids are more of a dicey subject because there are mechanics at royal that does nerf the brid's chances at killing (reduced teleblock timer and 5 minute timer cooldown), however I think the current issue is that the brids get too many attempts to kill the pvmer because their fights also often don't last long enough. If you are a pker and have put the time and effort into getting good and buying strong gear, you should have a chance to kill the pvmers of course, but if it's the 3rd fight and you're still going, it's just lame and you're wasting the pvmers time disproportionately compared to your own. The Solution Only let people have a maximum of 2 fights with each player per hour at royal zone, this way you'll have two chances to kill someone, and then you'll be put on cooldown and not allowed to hit that player for 1 hour. So if there are 10 players at royal zone you get 20 attempts to kill, just to be clear about what I mean (im not saying only 2 fights in total per hour). Everyone gets their fun, and this could lead to an increase in pvmers at royal which also means pkers get more options.

  6. I went out of my way to log in to say this, but agswarrior42 has been a god damn saint for me, I asked a bunch of ss to help me find out where the tyrannical rings were dropped in the game since the droptables didnt have them, he's the only one that helped and we came to find that the ring was dropped by callisto but the droptables don't have them on there.
  7. Hi, firstly the veng icon hitbox looks like this: It's quite annoying that it only gives lee-way towards the right, in osrs it gives leeway towards the left too like this: It's less confusing this way and easier to use and it's less annoying for people who have their inventory setup with spec weapon more towards the left of the veng icon, new players who come to the game won't have to adjust their muscle memory for this, like I have been doing. Secondly, the position of the veng spell in the magic spellbook isn't customizable, for me and perhaps others the veng icon is awkwardly placed. For a pk server I think this would be huge to be able to remove some of the spells. I know that it seems like I'm whining about some tiny change, but experienced pkers will know the importance of keeping consistent muscle memory.
