    I certainly believe you should have more powers, however to the extent that John does? absolutely not forum admin has a specific title for a reason. The power to close or delete threads can be abused if more people are allowed the ability. The system Gretar was proposing has its flaws on one hand, it limits, on the other hand bureaucracy you have to go through, that being said unless it's a website advertiser, or someone releasing personal information; time of the essence is not a factor that should be considered.

    You're saying you are not making the argument that they are not toxic, but then you say it is the truth I was confused there. When I say fighting fire with fire, I mean you have been seen by people getting into petty arguments and then coming out the victor simply by having the authority to punish said individual.

    When I say you don't have to be perfect, I do mean that people give shit to John about being biased but they don't link evidence. John rarely posts, because he may or may not be about quality, in return he does not end up in squabbles and is above reproach on the matter. Aside from the occasional banter, bare in mind you have been here for 2 years he's been here less, but he does not play the game either meaning even less dirt on his character. 

     

    Look everyone understands the arguments it's tough dealing with a community of 200+ people, the only thing however everyone is screaming at you to understand is to be the bigger man. As in don't get in petty arguments, have fun in any kind of banter you want as long as it is in good nature. However the moment you become the person you repudiate, you lose any footing you lose any respect because respect is a two way street. There are so many options to deal with annoying members and adolescents, ignore feature, communication strictly with business if they've been punished, direct them to the right resources and then get out of that toxic conversation in itself.

    You are typing as someone with no sense of the dynamic of the server, so how would you have an ability to make a case for yourself? All rsps aren't the same. Some private servers you can get banned for speaking in profanity and others you only get muted for leaking private information. I understand where you're coming from and you're asking moderators to be parents to the players and teach them right from wrong by example but that's not how things work around here. It's in a sense a dictatorship but that has never been a problem for its 6 years of existence and if you want to get banned for flaming then play a skilling server? Can't really say it any more plainly than it's a pking server and pkers flame.

    I think you're idea that denoting people as toxic is biased to be utterly hilarious. So let me get this straight, you feel that people who consistently flame and get punished for their actions (by staff whom aren't even Yoobs) makes putting a label on them biased? I know people are raised differently but most who are punished try to take corrective measures to make certain they don't have to be punished again. For staff to keep having to take actions because certain people feel that ruining others experience doesn't matter to them isn't right nor fair. So if the same people are always getting punished and triggered by one another to taunt, troll, and violate rules, that would make them toxic. So to pull a quicker trigger on known toxic players is wrong to you?

    Respect is a two-way street? What fortune cookies have you actually been reading? Listen pal, all the stories you have about being presidential is unrealistic and doesn't serve fruit for administrating a private server. Admins have a job to communicate with a way they feel is appropriate for them. They don't have to, nor should they be held to the same standard as normal players. That may seem hypocritical but do you care at all about being realistic? Let's serve the facts

    -annoying 16 year olds 

    -17-19 year olds with dead banter/failing to be witty

    -foreigners who can barely speak English 

    I understand Yoobs has a staff position on an rsps and you've been told your entire e-life that means he is Ghandi but his position doesn't even mean what you interpret it to mean?

    Server support - provide support

    Moderator - moderate the server (hope u know what moderate means xP)

    Administrator - administrate the server

He has mood swings as if he's a child and punishes for self-entertainment. There was videos/screenshots showcasing everything but nothing happened. I don't get why you're crying about your forum powers being taken away from you when you don't deserve them in the first place? Doing a few things for the server doesn't make up for all the times you've banned or punished unfairly not to mention in-game teleing yourself & other people out of wild lmao fix up.

    State of u Roshan-up in arms when you type the most flame on the server (although most of is indecipherable due to broken english/random #s bcus arab lol) why do you think your opinion on punishments should be thought highly of when you get punished daily?

    you're a toxic chimp and hopefully someone gives u ur angel cape back so u can go back to being a model player and not try to act like ur from the hood :P

    Wahhhhhh!!!!! All of a sudden I want staff to act different than me because I didn't get it and only got my angel cape!!! Wahhhhhhhhh i don't flame yoobs stop abusing wahhhhhh I'm a cwy bwaby wrat and if you checked my chat logs I'd be mac banned but I'm gonna make an emotional post bcus I got punished wahhhhh!!!!!!!

    Every single post that you've put on this topic so far has been a direct attack at him for his past actions that happened months ago, and if you looked further into it you'll see that every single thing that had been said or done had a just reason behind it.

    Just because you may not like him does not allow you to go deter other members of the community from him, because as has been said above, he does his job but doesn't promote the fact that he's doing anything. He's much more-so behind the scenes, so why are you getting lippy about it?

    If you truly believe you can do a better job than him, apply for Server Support, maybe get the position and work your way up from their which I assume is what the majority of staff members did. 

    You're targeting John and saying how he hasn't done a good enough job to maintain staff but yet we don't really know who you are, so I doubt anyone is going to take you seriously anyhow. Also, how do you know he "Has no idea how to do anything on forums"? Has he personally asked you for help for forum-related things? No? didn't think so. Shut up with your lies and deceit. No-one wants to hear it. 

    Just because you probably got punished by him in the fact on a alt or some shit doesn't mean you should snipe him on forums.

    Every single post I have made has been valid reason as to why this staff update has been a bad idea, so that makes it a personal attack? There's two topics about this subject in which I addressed the other staff members importance (in particular Yoobs) as opposed to just calling out John's lack of effort and desire in which I did in this topic.

    "Just because you don't like him doesn't mean you have to deter him from other members" - Are you really that stupid? No, seriously? How could you type something that fucking stupid?
    If someone was just given admin after months of being mod, how could my 4 posts have that much of an effect on the communities opinion?
    -Well, I'll tell you how. He doesn't post and when he does it is low quality posts. And as for your assertion he does things "Behind the scenes" - That is incorrect. He hasn't given out a warning in the last 3 weeks, so where does the "behind the scenes" story you made up actually take up? A defiant lie to try to make your poor case?

    You're not asking for a clean slate, though? You're asking to get unbanned because you want to play again and you're persistent that you've done nothing wrong. Don't see how you expect him to move on when you feel that way

He held a grudge, declined my appeal after six months because I told him I like his title. You're having a laugh if you think staff don't abuse their power lol. What's the point of me posting a thread on report  a staff when the staff that don't like me run the bloody forum. Thank you Gretar I completely agree with this change. In game and forum issues should be handled separately simple. It's not even @yoobs specifically, even bind abused his power by muting someone and closing report a staff thread just because they made a joke (which was no way offensive). Fix up m8.

    I'm positive there is more to your story then your letting on. Not necessarily about his reasoning for banning you, but your previous history because you make it sound as though you guys argued on yell once and left it at that. If you and him had a history before he banned you and you just insisted on making a poor taste "joke" (that you made seriously?) because that's just the cretinous scum you are, why would you be so surprised?

    A mute OBVIOUSLY wasn't suffice because you're still unapologetic to this day. Staff have a lot to deal with so to check off having to deal with a corny, cringey monkey off their to-do-list isn't a bad idea.

    Imagine having to state all your accomplishments and sound arrogant because you get 'demoted' (bcus that's what it is) for no reason. 

    ^if it was for a reason it would've been stated. Any reason/explanation given from now is just an excuse and only correcting this bs is appropriate
