I dont do it for the views as much as i enjoy actually making them. i need people to tell me what they like so i can incorporate it into my videos to make them more pleasurable and get the extra views that i do need. I use sony vegas 15, i actually havent made a video in over 3 years but id like to get back into it. Im abit rusty but it will come back to me and il be better than ever. I love playing around with vegas and photoshop and teaching myself new tricks and how to make a video look epic. Am down to collab with other youtubers and i just got a gaming headset worth alot so i can start making commentaries. I just recently made a pk video for roat pkz its abit rushed (il post below) but if i do get the job il be happy to make more and gain feedback on what i should and shouldnt do. I have over 400 subs on 2 different accounts and a few videos taken down due to sound being muted for copyright. Anyways thanks for your time i hope i get the position. -Ekys

Wilderness revamp thread Introduction & Back story into Roat After testing on the beta I have been motivated with helping @Gretar fix bugs I have decided to make a Wilderness Rejuvenation thread highlighting what must to be done to get the full release right. I'm pretty certain all of the things put into the thread would help Roats massively attracting new players to join and stay, more teams, clan activity and solo pking from rs & rsps. Just stating that it is 2017 and this server needs vast improvement and please be aware It isn't 2010-11 RSPS scene anymore for the veterans of the server please don't take this thread as threat to the server with "changes" they must been done and rightfully so, I've played countless amount of private servers and this one stands out like a sore thumb and just the fact that most of don't want any changes to the server you're all digging the servers grave deeper into the ground letting it rot like this its actually does make me wonder why the server can't progress. There hasn't been any significant increase in activity for this servers wilderness over the years, because steps haven't been taken to improve it and after speaking to Gretar directly he is pretty much unaware of how to make deep wilderness active on Roat pkz with regards to PKP money making and Pking, I'm going to share my perspective on how Roats should be with the new client (some things my be controversial with some people but every one is entitled with an opinion) Roat Pkz 317 is currently stuck in the old era of rsps and starved of content and there is only one place it will go if necessary changes for the server aren't fullifed, down the drain, potential wasted and obsolete (2speced anyone?). Key Points The key points that server has the upper-hand in for attracting new players would be that Roat has had a history of having a very long uptime which is a big plus for a server but apart from that it isn't suited for wilderness pking and the way wealth is on this server it is a mis-match between poor, barely playable and filthy rich the margins are too large and there is no middle ground for stable money making, that's why it hasn't been a server to go to as of yet because no one sees the point playing a unactive wilderness server especially with no content and means of making money as it is currently a 317 server stuck in its old era 2010-2011. Once the updates are fully completed for the beta, hype will differently occur so be it from word of mouth, Youtube videos and advertisement everyone in the RSPS scene community plays where the players play this has been going on for years and depending on the server's history, activity and fun factor that an rsps should definitely be fun. All the previously said things are some of the key assets in making the server grow hopefully if done right new players can stay and server can progress accordingly allowing for Roat to be the server to play and not overlook so @Gretar take this opportunity with both hands. For the following suggestions to work the these quality of life functions MUST be implemented into the server x Fully working Run Energy 100% working and able to toggle off and on run with run energy depleting. x Fully Working Agility Able to level agility will help run last longer and able to take wilderness shortcuts and energy boosting supplies bought from store x Full OSRS Wilderness NPC's Spawn All OSRS wilderness monster spawns must be put into the npc spawn config and in the correct places some missing ones on roat hobgoblins, chaos dwarfs and green dragons etc x Changes to current Roat Pkz Drop table High tier items will have to be moved to appropriate wilderness boss npc's to increase the activity at each location Dragon claws moved to appropriate wilderness boss location since it will receive a buff making it stronger and has new anim Elysian Spirit Shield moved to appropriate wilderness boss location Corpreal beast since it's buff & new GFX anim Remove of Divine Spirit Shield from game & chaos ele drop table as the above will be best suited Changes to the current PKP store Price changes: Bandos, Saradomin and Zamorak Godswords, Saradomin Sword, Abyssal Whip, Amulet of Fury, Dragon boots, Wizard boots, Robin hood hat, Ranger boots, Berserker necklace, Berserker ring, Warrior ring, Archers Ring, Seers ring, Barrows gloves, Dragon Full helm, Dragon Sq Shield, Toktz-ket-xil, Crystal Shield(Converted from Crystal Seed) Crystal bow(Converted from Crystal Seed) will now cost PKP Removals: Zuriels PVP Armour, Statius PVP Armour Vesta's PVP Armour, Vesta Spear, Zuriel's staff A new form of currency (Coins) gained within the wilderness Coin system Coins will work alongside PKP to gain supplies & Dexterous scroll can unlock Augury, Rigour or Preserve and allowing for more higher tier items such as Ballistia(new client) to be implemented into the server among other items and can also be valued with the currency. The item amounts are just visual and don't effect the shop stock this is just a preview of how the supply store will look in terms of items listed. The increase in activity at Wilderness Boss NPCS locations will make the current dead pk spots on roats active and a means to make money items can be obtained by killing bosses and selling the items back to players or the supply store. Coins could be used to access the resource area at mage bank to repair Barrows, Decant potions, Repair broken untradeables, Repair degradable armour/weapons Crystal shield, Crystal bow and to Imbued rings and to buy consumables potions and food in the supply store this will act as a money sink as PKP should only be high leveled items acquired through killing players in the wilderness coins will also come into the mix as you can only purchase the supply store item with coins making it wanted. Prices: Dark crabs 2k A high level wilderness food ttypically is eatable brews minus the effect of lowering stats Can be fished at Resource area(Mage Bank Acivity) at a faster rate depending on donator status donator 10% increase in speed, super donator 50% in speed and noted for coins (possibly if super donator can be banked for more coins). Antifire Potions 25k Protection from Dragonfire including Dragon bolts(e) Special nullifying for period of time makes D bolt specing(39's) & w/ dfs through prayer less effective Weapon poison (P) 10k Weapon Poisons can be used to poison Dragon javelins(Ballista), Darts(Toxic Blowpipe), Dragon dagger & knifes. Some items will have to get reset for this to work. Please note: Saradomin Brews, Restores and sharks will stay free to spawn as they are more frequently used on rsps. Item Removals & Items transfered to wilderness boss table The following Items will be deleted and reset from the server, The items that have been reset you'll be refunded for PKP. The reason behind the item removal would be to improve the server and not have it clustered with items from the wrong era (PRE EOC) and doesn't reflect and simulate current OSRS pking, especially on a 317 that has wanted to progress as a OSRS server it has the potential to be a great server but these changes must be done and there is no two ways about it. It is 2017 and time to focus more on the OSRS wilderness aspect as the client is one of OSRS 07 data. There is much more that can be improved and focused on the server especially with the new client the server can simulate a OSRS based wilderness where it leads to a means of making money for new and old players as the rewards are better this way in the long run. Below I have complied a list of where each respective Boss NPC will be situated around the wilderness being a donator+ will increase the drop rate and to allow for quick access to wilderness boss locations as the bosses will drop teleports on death which then can be looted and used a donator or sold to players for pkp/coins or supply store for coins.   4. Reposted for Beta client I would like to see the OSRS switches made as the default for switching and made more responsive where you'll be able to tick a string of queued items quicker. My reasoning behind this as of now the OSRS switches on ROAT PKZ don't reflect (Old School Runescape) because switching has always been queued on Runescape and never "Instant Switches" as the "ROAT" switches suggests this is wrong. 1# - 2 Switching modes Having two item switch modes makes absolutely no sense at all, for one it puts said person at a disadvantage which is unfair as the "ROAT" is each Individual Item when pressed (Clicked) is equipped thus giving equipped equipment bonuses without actually updating any visual signs of Armour change which in hybridding for instance is a big factor. Roat Pkz item switching mode Roat Pkz switching bypasses game ticks that are 0.6 and makes it 0.0 with no queued delay As you can see in the pictures this is one of the many problems that are incorrect and need urgent fixing. How can you switch to tank armour/mage armour on [ROAT] switches being so instant that you'll still get damaged on your supposedly visual Tank armour it's so broken and this should be replaced with revamped OSRS switches and made default as I mentioned before. The game itself Runescape is designed to be at 0.6ms with queuing http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Game_tick because things start to fall apart and become broken most RSPS don't follow this a modify core things like this which is VITAL for a "PKING BASED SERVER" with the ROAT switches being at 0.0ms this is why Item switching should never be under 0.6ms. Other factors beside the actual game can even make Item switching worse having bad Internet connection & low ping are two things which will severely cripple you because you'll be susceptible to latency and lag which matter but is an issue that can be fixed. Remove the Roat Pkz switching & Replace with OSRS switching and improve the responsiveness. @Gretar ----- Continuing from post before - 07/4/2017 @Gretar 2# - Switching Tests [OSRS] ITEM SWITCHING MODE The click is set at 0.6ms to simulate test conditions for accurate measure. The switching mode has a queuing delay and the gear appropriately change when a click packet has been registered through the Roatz PK client and sent to the server, This updates the equipment visually on the character as well as the equipment bonuses on the equipment tab, everything is in sync. Normal speed GIF: This is why the Item switching mode should be set at 0.6ms with a quicker queuing sequence and OSRS switching as default switching and revamped accordingly as I previously mentioned before. The switching is not really responsive and doesn't allow quick input per click, notice in the video below I do a 6 way horizontal (top to bottom) then I proceed to switch back with another 6 way and doesn't register my items. The second 8 way did not register my item clicks not equipping the leg switch, the boots was from the first 8 way as it was done subconsciously I would of completed both 8 way switch without a problem. The switching is not really responsive and doesn't allow quick input per click, notice in the video below I do a 6 equipment switch+ Helm and boot removal (8way) horizontal (top to bottom) then I proceed to switch back with another 6 way and doesn't register my items causing items not to be equipped in time first 6 way occult necklace didn't equip so it messed up my flow of switching making me re-adjust mid game tick to switch back to magic armour, if i completed the melee switch firecape + serp I would has been too late. This is why Osrs switching should be fixed because it is far too buggy. [ROAT] ITEM SWITCHING MODE The click is set at 0.6ms to simulate test conditions for accurate measure. This Item switching mode has no queuing when items are pressed(Clicked) the items are equipped and equipment bonuses update too quickly without actually updating any visual signs of Armour change. As you see in the video the items, equipment bonuses and inventory item switching is not in-sync. (Items are out of sync when clicked and this is currently what "ROAT PKZ SWITCHING" does completely false way for switching. Normal speed GIF: Speed 0.25x (slower) GIF: In the slower video gif you will see the items equip so fast that anywhere from (5-9 armour changes per second!!!!!) occur and they don't update visually this is broken, as people currently do most unrealistic and unnecessary fakes thinking they're switching so fast when the game is just broke all they are doing is in reality are bypassing the standard game ticking. Now pair this with attack speed of a weapon they're able to continue doing damage whilst instantly switching, eating, pot drinking all together and relying on RNG DAMAGE on top of that!!!. This is broken mechanic and messes with the universal game tick of actions that run at 0.6ms this is because of the switching mode is at 0.0ms and has no delay or queuing when clicked, giving the illusion of "INSTANT SWITCHES" as @Gretar and many other people think this is the best way of switching when in reality it is very far from the truth It is broken and should be fixed. 3# - One Ticking Just to touch on one ticking switches which you can't do on current ROAT PKZ 317. If you equip a string of items in the required game tick Universal Actions + Item switching = Timeframe (UA) 0.6ms + (IS) 0.6ms = (TF) 1.2 seconds So if I one tick a 6 way switch for instance videos for reference these aren't mine these are very good examples. Higher Revision (Pre Eoc) 718/735 etc Older Revison (07 Old school) 459, 474 etc In the time frame of 1.2 seconds give or take the variable can change to less being dependant on several factors Latency, Internet connection and Ping also the game being a lower revision or higher revision you may get a quicker equip or longer equip for a one tick. Conclusion Remove [ROAT] ITEM SWITCHING MODE replace with a revamped OSRS SWITCHING as I've previously mentioned time and time again. This is needed.   5. Hi welcome to my suggestions thread I've complied a list of what I personally think would help the server so may have been listed before but I will bring attention it again so pepole are aware. Also everyone is entitled to their opinions feel free to voice them. Hopefully some will get fixed and added that is the aim of this thread this may be subject to change such as pictures. Excuse my layout if it is messy having a problem with the forums not letting me post imgur links so that has disabled my format but I would like to get this put out there so people can see the suggestions, so if you have any disagreements please comment. Breakdown Combat Pre Made kits Wilderness teleports Minigame (money making PKP Points) Consumables Other Misc: Combat: Magic distance I was 16 tiles away as soon I clicked the target my character ran to tile 14 casted barrage and moved automatically to till 12 and continued casting barrage. Range bolting crossbow 14 steps away when attack target you run 9 steps from the 14th tile and you shoot the bolt on the 9th title, after the bolt is shot the character automatically runs to title 7 if unfrozen creating a shorter range distance. Also Long ranging should give defensive XP with XP on or off regardless this stops pures for example ranging from their exceeded range distance when frozen when not in range of using rapid. Bug #1 Melee attack pathing stops on the diagonal tile then moves next to target continuing the attack this is wrong. http://imgur.com/kDREFGA How it should be smooth and seamless http://imgur.com/pmRWPUa Bug #2 Magic splashes hit 0 zeros they should just show the splash animation with 52xp without the 0, looks very untidy. http://imgur.com/a/VS72b Bug #3 Range tick is slower and too far away after shooting bolt ( animation needs to be fixed also ) http://imgur.com/pMBaovQ Difference; This range tick is too fast it delays the combat it should be half a second faster then the original picture (subject to tests) http://imgur.com/HGi1db3 Whip should give shared XP when on lash as a pure this eliminates 1 tick whipping on lash when switching from crossbow that is on rapid, it should give defensive XP regardless of XP lock or not. Correcting prayer drain rates, prayer drains too quickly even with Protect Melee up by itself, i will post the formula if needed. Switching cycles need improving more ability to one tick depending on clicks. without waiting a whole 2 and a half seconds to switch back. Will include examples Pre Made kits: Pure NH Food will be shark Since all preset gear will require universal food such as sharks basic setup for NHing how it should be, without the super attack potion, magic potion, chef hat and whip unnecessary. This gear in the picture is much more cleaner. Others such as Main Hybridding, Maxed Melee will be done and added with gear pictures. Also barrow & bandos presets will need removing since they aren't spawn able.   6. I really think that the Statius's warhammer in the current state is pretty much useless. When I got donor I thought that it was going to be better than vesta longsword, but when I tried to pk with it was useless. The warhammer in pking were so horrible. 90% of hits were 0 and the of the specs 99% were 0. The biggest hit I did with basic hit was 55 and with spec 57. And if the opponent had a even bit of defence the hits were always 0-30. Please make this beautiful hammer better so there's a reason to use it. ~ Starista

  8. So I have been playing on this server for a good month now and I realised that the toxicity in this server is getting higher every minute. And it is kind of becoming a disturbance for me considering I really like this server, but is really putting me down because of the amount of toxicity, flaming and the worst part of this whole community the "Ragging" community. So I have a question, is there going to come a stronger policy against toxicity on this server. Because otherwise I really cannot be bothered to go further on this.
