Flim Flom
Slayer tasks are assigned by Krystilia at ::Slayer Trade her and grab yourself a few Enchanted gems while you're here. They'll be essential for teleporting to your tasks and checking how many kills are left. You won't need this if you have a Slayer helmet or Slayer helmet(i). Slayer helmet goes for 40k and gives you a +15% melee accuracy and strength boost against your assigned target. Slayer helmet(i) goes for 80k and gives a +20% accuracy and strength boost with all three attack styles against your assigned target. There are various recolour variants of this item, but they're statistically the same. After testing various setups for hours, this is the gear I found to be the most effective in terms of kills per hour. The cape can be replaced with a Fire Cape or Infernal cape, but I like the prayer bonus of the Royal donator cape because I semi-AFK with Piety and protect from melee in this gear. Here's a similar setup on a lower budget and a blowpipe setup. These two are very similar in terms of kills per hour, but because of the high prayer bonus, I lean towards using melee. I only really use the blowpipe setup for Chaos Druid tasks. As you can see, I only bring 3 items and never a 4th that I'd have to use the protect item prayer for. This is in case I'm killed while AFK or (unlikely) I get smited. I am slaying to make money, not to risk it. All of my setups include the Slayer Ring which gives a +10% slayer experience boost and sends Larran's key drops to my inventory. The Slayer Ring is a 1/5,000 drop on any slayer task, so you'll have one very soon if you don't already. 2 Quote Link to comment
