I Support this but it's actually to do with Melee Attacking distance(Melee weapons start their animation within combat range example Tent, DDS and Scim etc) Click priority(Game Ticks taking into account where you've clicked and when your opponent can & can't attack back) All while being Frozen. Bare in mind this current Server is ROAT PKZ 317!!! and has been very imperative from the start... A fun server but is best suited towards this type of pker at most: I'm trying to be optimistic about the future of the server pk wise but yh ^^^ lol Hopefully it gets fixed and alot of other things too.

Support, Game ticks and Animations are a shambles but what more can you expect from this 317 overload X

I'll continue to bump it. I haven't heard a good enough response from @Salad @Gretar about when this issue regarding fixing it. His response was: He may of browsed the thread however I was looking for a more informative response and not about food. @Salad @Gretar When this is patched?

@Gretar & @Salad A thread like this is appropriate with the current ongoing situation with the client, since it's your responsibility to keep the players updated and aware of what's going on. I'll try keep it short but I've noticed the following (minor issues & would like to point out suggestions) may be due the current stage you're at with the client: No HP orbs in Fixed mode & Resizeable - If you're rewriting this I understand you may not have packed the sprites for orbs yet, this is not a problem. Texture shading on characters: On RS2007 it appears more rigid (how it should be) than Roat pkz being smooth and flat with no outlining. Noticeably around the hair, clothing & items. Notice how the textures are darker and rigid in some areas. Some items also are effected an example would be spirit shields etc. It is possible to add a texture shading option which you can toggle shading off or on. Magic splashes should never hit 0's in your video gif below the magic splashes are hitting 0's. Hitting a zero only applies if the magical hit damage is actually 0. Therefore splash is nill, so a animation should just show instead. https://i.gyazo.com/fc35dbbd43abc95294a6527838a571f9.mp4 Possible Game filter option should be integrated to separate yell (I know there is a option in the quest tab), and global announcements from combat related activity so your chat box isn't clogged up. Right now you have not implemented this. Chatbox area is a few shades brighter, noticed on the previous client. OSRS is a shade darker makes, colored text easier to read. = 100% Scroll Zooming & Locking should be added with the new client Prayers, Include Perverse in the prayer book which is missing from your picture & toggle-able option to allow prayer info overlay and customization OSRS Sounds ? Regarding Combat Switching If I missed anything I'll let you know personally. And I would like to have access to beta for testing has switching been fixed? I will play again when it's released current Roat is far to buggy (stated already why that is). @Gretar @Salad

Nice video man keep it up & props for using OSRS switching mode even though it's completely broken check the thread to read more.

I'd like to know if you plan on modifying the combat system on Roat Pkz to one that is similar to Current OSRS instead of using the same outdated 317 garbage for lower ranked servers. Isn't the goal for this server to appeal to a bigger PK based community who take notice of such things. As much as I like this server it's really broken. Most noticeably range formula is all over the place same goes for magic being far too accurate with weaker gear vs higher tier gear and vice versa & melee vs melee sticks out like a sore thumb. With that being said I understand this a beginner server for people just starting up pking but I'd really like to see it go past that. Especially with OSRS newer items some examples being the Ballista & Ancestral robes etc, it will just unbalance the game even more on Roat Pkz if you don't take into account the combat system, as one or the other items will be the most dominant and everyone will use because of the game not being balanced enough. Combat system breakdown: Accuracy & Damage taking into account of Defensive Armour Melee Accuracy and Damage Vs Melee Defensive Armour (Def Bonuses +Stab +Slash +Crush) Ranged Accuracy & Damage Vs Ranged Defensive Armour (Def Bonuses +Range) Magic Accuracy & Damage Vs Magical Defensive Armour (Def Bonuses +Magic) Accuracy & Damage with Protection Prayer Magic Accuracy & Damage Vs Protect Magic Ranged Accuracy & Damage Vs Protect Range Melee Accuracy & Damage Vs Protect Range Strength Bonus Vs Lower Defensive Gear (I.E Robes) Melee Strength based Damaged increased accordingly vs Weaker Defensive gear All the above will apply to Weapons, Armour (Including Void), Ammo, Spells, Boosted stats, Protection Prayers & Bonus increasing Prayers. I'd like to hear specifically from @Salad @Gretar I can also include video examples if you request. Other views & opinions are welcome
