All rsps aren't the same. Some private servers you can get banned for speaking in profanity and others you only get muted for leaking private information. I understand where you're coming from and you're asking moderators to be parents to the players and teach them right from wrong by example but that's not how things work around here. It's in a sense a dictatorship but that has never been a problem for its 6 years of existence and if you want to get banned for flaming then play a skilling server? So let me get this straight, you feel that people who consistently flame and get punished for their actions (by staff whom aren't even Yoobs) makes putting a label on them biased? I know people are raised differently but most who are punished try to take corrective measures to make certain they don't have to be punished again. For staff to keep having to take actions because certain people feel that ruining others experience doesn't matter to them isn't right nor fair. So if the same people are always getting punished and triggered by one another to taunt, troll, and violate rules, that would make them toxic. So to pull a quicker trigger on known toxic players is wrong to you? There's two topics about this subject in which I addressed the other staff members importance (in particular Yoobs) as opposed to just calling out John's lack of effort and desire in which I did in this topic. "Just because you don't like him doesn't mean you have to deter him from other members" - Are you really that stupid? No, seriously? How could you type something that fucking stupid? If someone was just given admin after months of being mod, how could my 4 posts have that much of an effect on the communities opinion? -Well, I'll tell you how. Not necessarily about his reasoning for banning you, but your previous history because you make it sound as though you guys argued on yell once and left it at that. If you and him had a history before he banned you and you just insisted on making a poor taste "joke" (that you made seriously?) because that's just the cretinous scum you are, why would you be so surprised? A mute OBVIOUSLY wasn't suffice because you're still unapologetic to this day. Staff have a lot to deal with so to check off having to deal with a corny, cringey monkey off their to-do-list isn't a bad idea.

This update was just fantastic Not consulting the staff at all, just letting all the staff find out at once exactly when the players do lol, very effective Oh well, the people who made this decision knew the staff were going to disagree. In my opinion it was an overreaction to one incident and if "they" (whoever was involved in making this decision) came to the staff and asked their opinions of this, I'm sure there would've been the appropriate dialogue for such actions not to have taken place If this is just a general chat about what had happened can @Gretar or @Zoradz give us some feedback on what went into this? -Who's opinions did you grab to make this decision? -Seems as though John wasn't surprised and the rest of the staff were caught off guard. Don't think he'd be the one you'd want to approach and not the rest if he's getting a promotion, right? -What factors came into making this decision? -thoughts of forum abuse and some examples, a specific incident that change your mind, or what have you -Why didn't you ask the other staff how they fault? -did you know they were going to disagree and wanted to avoid the argument or did it slip your mind(s)? I feel this was handled very poorly. There is CLEARLY a problem with the staff team itself and the decision makers if stuff like this is happening. I don't see why you would abandon your trust in someone but keep them as in-game staff-the most important part of the server. I'm sure the staff chat has a lot of commotion today that could've been avoided if the decision makers handled it better.

I understand where you're coming from but it's not like this is making the staff unbiased at all. Look at John's posts with the highest reputation. He has a problem with certain members that he feels a certain way about and having him as the only person with any responsibility is just a bad decision. I think having someone in a little more control of the forums would be a good thing, but John is biased and hasn't been quiet about it
