Hello everyone! I hope you had a very nice Christmas and got something from the drop parties . I've done some minor changes to lotto and I feel like have to share them because the lotto is one of largest sinks in-game (2M+ sinked in last week)! 1. You never lose more than you put in! Now you never lose more PKP than you put in, so if you win with over 85% win rate you will get the same amount of PKP you put in. For example, if I put 10,000 PKP into a 500 PKP Lottery and no one else puts PKP in it and it ends up in 10,500 PKP, if I win I will get back my 10,000 PKP (no loss, before it would've been 8,925 PKP). 2. Get the timer quickly down! The timer now automatically goes down to 5 minutes if there's over 10K in the lottery! 3. Current Status Auto Updates! The 'Current Lottery Status' window now automatically updates if you keep it open! 4. New Lotto Chats! The Lottery Master now does a 15 second countdown so you can easily time your inserts! Roat Pkz Updates! New God Capes! The new God capes have arrived! You can receive them by finishing a mini quest at the mage arena. You'll have to teleport to ::mb gear up and prepare to kill 3 demons in the wilderness. The new Demons can be found scattered above 30 wilderness, you need to kill all of them to get their hearts! Be sure to use the correct god spell to deal damage on them! (12 multi locations, 4 single) You can also use the Enchanted Symbol to help you find the demons, it costs 250 Mage Arena Points and is kept for lifetime. Once you've collected all of the hearts you have to return then to Kolodin for a nice reward! Each mini quest rewards you with an imbued god cape +5 god cape charges, you can stack up charges by finishing the mage arena mini quest a few times. A charge is lost every time you die with the cape. Once you're out of charges you can't wear the cape until you finish the mini quest again. You can also create imbued max capes by using an imbued god cape with a normal max cape (requires 1000 kills) Ping Added To Client! You can now see the ping between you and the server with ::fpson. Ping is basically the amount of time it takes ur computer to communicate with the server, high ping = more lag/delay. Other Updates! - Amethyst arrows have been added. (better than rune, worse than dragon). - Added all the #159 items to the new item list and their bonuses. - Fixed over 300 items that were missing level requirements. - NPC's have been reduced in a few places in the wildernss. - Fixed the new Mage Makeover hairstyles. - Fixed 250+ items that couldn't be worn. Roat Pkz Updates! The Kraken! The Kraken has been released, it can be found at ::kraken. It's a pretty simple boss, you start off by disturbing all the small whirlpools before disturbing the big one. You can only use magic or range on the Kraken, although magic is preferable. Few Things about the Kraken - It blocks your ancient magic spells by 33% (Blood Barrage does not re-heal) - It has a very good range defence bonus so Magic is preferable. - Overhead prayers have no affect on the damage it deals. Kraken Instance For a low price of 200 PKP you can have your own Kraken Instance, that's basically an empty room where you're alone vs the Kraken. It will destroy itself once you leave or log off for over a minute. Kraken Drop Table The Kraken Drop Table is very good, it should average well over 1K an hour. Kraken Pet - (1/1500) If you're lucky enough you might receive a Kraken Pet Trident of the swamp & seas Both Trident of the Swamp and Trident of the seas have been added in-game. Trident of the Seas has infinite charges while Trident of the swamp requires 1 Zulrah scale per charge. They both come with built int magic spells and are very good as their attack delay is 1 tick lower than all other magic items, which means there's a 2.4 sec delay instead of 3.0 sec between attacks. Abyssal Tentacle Changes The Abyssal tentacle now degrades after 8,000 hits, which is equivalent of 5+ hours of constant combat without interruption. New Commands Interface A new ::commands interface has been added, it has nice pictures and is very helpful for current and new players, I will also keep it updated. Hunters Crossbow The Hunters Crossbow has been added, it's very fast and only works with kebbit bolts. It's free in the Range Shop! Risk Zone Changes The Risk Zone barriers have been changed 25+ PKP is now 100+ PKP 250+ PKP is now 1,000+ PKP 1,000+ PKP is now 5,000 PKP 5,000+ PKP is now 10,000 PKP Other Updates! - You can't use the levers at mage arena if you've been teleblocked. - Teleblock immunity is now a minute instead of 3 secs. - Food and Potions are never visible for anyone else if you're above 5 wilderness. - Fixed an issue where loot would disappear if you teleported quickly after getting a kill. - Monsters in the wilderness have been reduced slightly at Ice Plateau and Hobgoblins. - Ruby Bolts have been nerfed against monsters and now hit a max of around 50. - ::snowon and ::snowoff has been added to the client! Roat Pkz Update - Elo Ranking System A brand new ELO system has been added in-game, this system is not meant to replace KDR but it's a much more accurate data point to see how good of a Pker you really are. This will also set apart the actual good pkers and KDR hunters. It also changes a lot, so even if you have a complete shit KDR such as 1000/2500, and all of sudden became as good of a pker as Smokey/Smackd or a high ranked player you could get you into top 50 while having under 1.0 KDR. Why an Elo System? Elo is a very popular rating system, first used in chess to rate players. It's currently being used by multiple online games to rank their players, including League Of Legends, Counter Strike, Starcraft and more. How is it different from KDR? Elo ranks you based on you and your opponents Elo, for example if I kill bad pkers 250 times I might have 250.0 KDR while another person could only fight the top 50 best pkers in-game and get 100 kills and 50 deaths and end up with a KDR of 2.0. The Elo system will rank player 2 a lot better even though he only has 2.0 KDR since he fought a lot harder opponents than the person with a 250.0 KDR. How do I increase my Elo ? It's fairly simple, the higher rated players you fight, the higher your Elo will raise. The lower rated players you fight the lower your elo will raise, if it does at all. When does my Elo lower ? If you lose a fight vs a player with higher Elo than you, your Elo will lower a small amount depending on how high the Elo difference is, sometimes you might not lose a point, however if you lose a fight vs a player that has a lower Elo than you, your Elo will drop more than if you lose against a better player. You can see a simple calculator here. Our K-factor is around 1-32 depending on a few situations. What does my Elo start off at ? Your Elo start at 1200 and goes up and down depending on your fights. You will not be able to see your Elo until you have at least 30 fights overall. Does my Elo get affected in FunPk, Duel or Tournaments ? No your Elo is not affected in the Duel Arena, Fun Pk or Tournaments, another reason why it's better than KDR. What is a K-factor and what is it set at ? A K-factor is basically a variable in the formula that makes sure than your Elo does not fluctuate a lot if you have a surprising loss or win vs a great or shit player. Usually this is set at 32, so your Elo can not raise or go down by 32 in a single fight. On Roat Pkz it will usually be at around 16 but depending on a few factors it can be lower, such as if you get rushed/rush someone. Elo Hiscores In-Game Elo Hiscores can be found on the table at Edge Bank. An Example of the current hiscores. I will add online ones very soon as well. ::KDR also displays your ranking against everyone, the lower the % the better you are If you have any questions about the Elo system please post them below and I'll try my best to reply.

ITEM PRICE CHANGES SUGGESTIONS Before I reply to every suggestion I wanna say I don't agree with all item changes and making pkp methods 5-10x better while raising items 5-10x will result in same situation as we are in now ? But it's true for sure that many items do need item price changes. MAGE ARENA SUGGESTION Yes I agree with mage arena it should be better pkp hour and make kodai wand 'rare' again. We also have to add the timer so ur immune from their auto retaliate so u can't just afk 24/7 and no one can pj you there. BARROW MINIGAME SUGGESTION Yes I agree with barrows minigame, it would be great for new players who are just starting out and a decent money maker in safe zone. I also think barrow items do need a raise in price but I think your prices a bit 2 high. REMOVING BEARDED GORILLAS Removing them has always been on 'to-do' list until enough other money making methods are in-game, so I agree on that one. DEMONIC GORILLAS / SELLBACK SUGGESTION I am not comfortable changing the 30% sellback at pkp shop yet since it's one of our largest sinks atm, what I would wanna try is a trading post in-game and slap a 2-3% tax on every sale and see how large of a sink that'd be, if big enough I can reduce the shop %. A store where u can sell any item back for maybe 60-70% street value is also good. BLACK CHINS SUGGESTION I think this is a great idea and limiting combat level also very good. I do however think it should be linked to hunter skill and we should add hunter with skilling in-game, and instead of chinchompa points you'd either get 'skilling points' or chinchompas which u can sell back to skilling shop for skilling points. TOURNAMENT REVAMP SUGGESTION I disagree with making everyone have the same setup in tournaments, although that'd fix the rag problem in tournaments it'd overall not be as much fun. I think another solution must be found to fix it. More maps will also be coming to tournaments, probably 4-5, some will have hills & trees so u can tree hug and take advantage of that. Run will eventually matter in tournaments once agility & staminas are added so that would fix run/mage problem. I think that PKP atm is not bad as reward but maybe a new 'tournament points' or 'minigame points' should be applied to ppl who rank high. ELDER CHAOS DRUIDS SUGGESTION Yes great addition and good way to get elder chaos robes. DAGANNOTH KINGS SUGGESTION I think this is a great idea and could be good for novice people who are starting out. BURNING AMULET SUGGESTION Yes good addition. AMULET OF THE DAMMED Yes I think it's good idea but not so many bh points. DECORATIVE ARMOR I think it should rather be in the Minigame Shop. RUN ENERGY Yes this is much needed for the wilderness and would go in well with skilling as people could train agility and purchase stamina potions for skilling points. COOLDOWN TIMER FOR PK SPOTS Yes I will add the cooldowns shortly, probably within a week. TELEPORT CHANGE BEARDED GORILLAS -> CINCHOMPAS Yes this is a good replacement for the gorilla teleportl CHANGE HALOS FROM CW TO BH I think halos should still be in minigame shop as it would allow people who play minigames to make money by selling rewards to pkers. MAKE ALL SKILLCAPES UNTRADEABLE AND COST 99 PKP EA Maybe cheap but I think 99 a bit much. ANGLERFISH 20 PKP I think that price is way to high, people already complain that teletabs are way to expensive at 10 pkp ea. But I do think it should be more expensive. DARK CRAB / ANGLERFISH PRICES CHANGES I don't know if it's a good idea or not, and why make sharks the main food when manta ray would still be free and better? PVP ARMOR DEGRADION Yes, Smackd has told me that people would be interested in getting PVP armor back, so I'd like to poll that at sometime, if re-introduced I would make it degrade while in use. DRAGON HUNTER CROSSBOW 10% VS DRAGONS Dragon hunter crossbow already gives 10% accuracy vs dragons. MOVE ELDER ROBES TO PKP STORE Maybe in the future but for now we don't have that many items in the BH shop to begin with so I think it's good balance. ADD CORRECT OSRS DRAGONFIRE SPECIAL ATTACK Yes this is on the to-do list and would be good addition ADD LOTTING BAG Yes this is a good idea and should be added. ADD ANTIFIRE POTIONS Yes this is a good idea but 100 pkp sounds like a lot, maybe in the skilling shop ? MAKE ALL TELEPORT TABS 1 PKP EA I think 1 pkp is 2 little, tabs are already a good sink. GLORY TELEPORT IN COMBAT If you want glory to be able to teleport in combat it'd have to cost some PKP I think. REMOVE WESTS PKING ZONE Yes I think this is a good idea. ADD TELEPORT TO 35's I will be looking into a few teleports to add soon. FIX DRAGON SPEAR Yes this is on the to-do list. FIX EQUIP TIMERS Although it use to be limited to 4 per tick because of packet firewall that has been fixed many months ago and is no longer an issue, the slight delay you notice when switching is because of the order the server sends ur client pakcets to process, I will look into this soon and attempt to re-order it so it feels smooth. I've sent an experimental client to few ppl and we found root issue about it. POISON SPIDER POISON YOU & COMBAT Yes this is good idea no harm. I will also have to look into that damage tick delay, I will also fix the location u spawn in and attempt to add the 1 min immunity. Roat Pkz Updates! Hello fellow players, today I have an exciting update! Jad Pet, King Black Dragon Pet and Corporeal Beast Pet! PETS! Pets have finally arrived on Roat Pkz! As of now there are only 4 pets from these monsters, Jad, King Black Dragon, Corporeal Beast and Chaos Elemental. These pets are untradeable and always kept on death. The drop rates will be listed below and can also be seen in the drop table. Although we only have 4 pets right now, more will be added as more bosses come up, along with donation pets in the future (tradeable). Chaos Elemental Jr 1/1500 from Chaos Elemental Tzrek-Jad 1/150 from Jad Pet Dark Core 1/750 from Corporeal Beast Prince Black Dragon 1/1500 from King Black Dragon ------------------------------------- Clear Private Message History Added! You can now clear your private message history, just right click on the tab. Prayer Swaps You can now swap your rigour & augury prayers with ::swapprayer. Other Updates! You can no longer logout in the same tick as someone starts an attack on you. A warning has been added when you try to close your client while logged in. All new accounts automatically join the 'help' cc. Prayer icons not lighting up when you have the right level has been fixed. Teleblock now has the correct projectile (thing that flies in the air when cast) when it lands or not. Thanks and more to come!

Roat Pkz Updates! Hey everyone, I've been working on an npc rework for the past week or 2. It includes a lot of neat features I'll list below. Pets will unfortunately be delayed a bit until I gather enough fight times to get a good estimate for the pet drop rate. Wilderness Monsters Almost all OSRS wilderness monsters have been added and all have working combat. These are mostly 'placeholder' monsters for now that really don't do anything apart from making the wilderness look more realistic. This includes over 600 new npc spawns. Monster Fight Times! All PVM monsters now have kill times which you can see after you get the kill, your personal best is only saved on good PVM monsters and only counts if you did more than 80% of the damage. NPC Random Walk / Wandering around When npcs walk around now they actually find a path to route and follow the path instead of just walking 1 tile in any direction. NPC Safe Spot Fix When you get out of the attacking range for the npc, the npc will now look for a path backwards that will force you to enter its attack range to continue attacking, this will stop people from "stalling" npcs or safe spotting. NPC Walking inside each other fix Npc's will no longer walk into each other or into other players, this also applies to larger npcs. NPC Data Updated! Almost all npcs now have correct max hit, levels, bonuses and attack speed with help from the wikia . The levels & bonuses will be used with the same formula PVP currently uses, so you can look at the wikia and see the bonuses and imagine a player with those levels/bonuses when you're fighting. This will also make npcs such as Corporeal Beast and Chaos Elemental feel just as strong as OSRS. NPC's added to new combat system! All npcs in-game are now in the 'new' npc combat system, it has a lot of flexibility and many neat things such as only being damaged once a projectile lands on you as seen above, it's mostly noticeable with npcs that use range or magic in combat. Royal Seed Pod Added! The Royal Seed Pod has been in-game for some time, but it's in the bounty hunter shop for 10,000 Points. It's untradeable and therefore kept for forever, it's basically a 1 click tele from <= 30 wild. Other Updates! - After killing an npc you can now instantly move onto the next one without being 'under attack'. - The Bandos Godsword now only uses 50% of your special attack. - Protection Prayers only reduce 2/3 of the damage donator npcs do.
