Soooooo this all dates back to a few minutes ago. I was having an argument via yell with someone who everytime I would speak to someone else he'd say "Benbon stfu" and whatnot. Sooo things got rather heated and essentially I told him that I was not gonna keep playing this attention game with him and that he should drop it. He kept going to I said stfu and whatever. This lasted for a good 20 minutes. 5 minutes later, I get a message saying I was given a 2 hour mute by Ungrateful. Confused, I decided to pm him, his initial response was that he didn't do it it was a mod bot. When I finally made him admit it was him, he told me he didn't need to give me a warning that the 2 hours was a warning. Mute=Infraction. Infraction comes after a warning. He literally came out of no where and muted me because "Lol you were arguing for a good 20 minutes."

On top of this, I was very calm in the process of speaking to him, however he handled me very immaturely and ended with this: https://gyazo.com/af38bbf8222b7180cb285de0f04e25b1 Essentially adding me to ignore list mid conversation.

I find this extremely immature and poorly handled and a lack of good patience and problem solving skills.

Ik im gonna get a lot of hate for this cuz everyone likes the guy but yeh, proof's in the pudding.

My goal on making this thread is not to rat the guy out cuz believe me, I'm not like that. But I was not handled correctly and there was so many ways he could have better performed.

You're not wrong, however I like the part where Mike said that the autobot gave you a two hour mute rather than him? 

Either that means Mike don't like confrontation which is the case, or it was a bad judgement call and he tried covering it up. However seeing it was to late to do that, he stuck by his guns. If you had pictures that would provide for a funny story, and something to talk about. 

I mean it could have been a cop out for Mike to say he had other people to help, I don't know (Rusty) the statistics for when mods frequently ask Staff questions. However he could have been telling the truth as well, I feel like he should have rescheduled the conversation, rather than leaving you out to dry like that. 

No one was really in the wrong at the end of the day. 

 

Edit: If Mike didn't mute the other party it could seem as a shady call, but he could argue you were more abrasive and haughty with your comments. Pictures and evidence of the conversation would be nice.

majority of the staff on here does not act "professional", this should be expected by now. i know when kids start arguing on yell pedro is pretty quick to tell them to stfu or they're getting muted. ungrateful should have done the same thing here, or at the least muted both of you. this has become a common problem on here, everyone bringing their arguments to the yell chat (i'll admit i do this quite often as well), and it needs to start being controlled.
