I understand your frustration dude, but item blocking, whilst frowned upon, isn't actually bannable. I suggest you just randomly drop/raise your levels real quick while running back so you can't be attacked. We have asked so many times for untradeables to be kept on death, there's no logic in forced looting.

Not that lucky lol, that was less than 100 PKP per box - could have gotten more not choosing packages. But I guess it was fun opening them and taking a gamble. Nice video.

In my opinion IF the Barrows bros' are considered to be added then it shouldn't be half-assed like you suggested, but instead the full minigame like RS has. In other words, you must kill all 6 brothers in their own crypt consecutively, with the last brother's coffin teleporting you to the chest in the dungeons where you kill the last one and receive random loot from the chest. The reason I think it should be like this is because, with your idea everyone will just camp Dharok and Ahrim of course, and neglect the other brothers due to the usefulness of the armors. This will lead to too many of them in-game and reduce their value. At least with the 'random loot from the chest' method they will trickle into the game a lot slower, and playing the minigame would be a nice change of pace from always PK'ing. To incorporate your donator's benefits, I suggest just making the ring of wealth a free item in the donator store so we can at least get slightly better drop rates than non-donators. It automates the process of uploading literally every kill you do and organises in a neat folder in date order (latest at the bottom by default) so you can share your victories with anyone quickly and easily! @Ahmash Why quote the whole thing..? Kill pic sharing Ever since the auto-save kill pics feature was released and my kill-shot image folder started to rapidly grow, I wanted to show some to my friends and I figured there needs to be a better method than uploading them manually for them to see - so I looked for a better solution, which I will now present to you. Step 1: Cloud storage There are many cloud storage services available, e.g. One Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. Personally, I will be using One Drive, purely because it comes pre-loaded on newer versions of Windows, it's provides up to 5GB free storage, and it's owned by Microsoft. The last 2 points are important because, I noticed the average screenshot is about 200KB(ish) so 5GB is room for up to 25k kill pics - which is a lot, over the years only a few people reached that! And since Microsoft is a big company, you know they have reliable servers that won't go down and they won't close down so basically your images are extremely safe (I use it to back up important data). You could use Google's service if you prefer, my point is just don't use websites like freecloud4u (made-up) or funny names like that because they never last and aren't reliable. OK, so you'll want to open your One Drive folder (if you don't have it, go download it now!) and in there you should see a "Public" folder. Remember: anything you put in this folder can be viewed by anybody online so only put stuff you wish to share with others. You could use separate MS accounts for personal/business/gaming up to you. Anything outside that folder can only be viewed by you (or anyone with access to your MS account). Now copy and paste your screenshots folder (in Windows you'll find it at: "C:\Users\yourname\roatpkz_screenshots") and put it inside this "Public" folder we discussed. Voila! Your images are now uploaded to the cloud and you can start sharing your cloud's public link right away! (just-right the folder and choose "share link") Step 2: Synchronisation I wish Gretar let us choose the path of the folder for screenshots to save (if that is even possible?), it would have saved this step because we could have set them to be saved direct to the cloud! Anyway, there is a neat little kit called "SyncToy" - it's by Microsoft, download it and it will ask you to enter 2 folders to keep sync'd, which will be: "C:\Users\yourname\roatpkz_screenshots" and "C:\Users\yourname\OneDrive\Public\roatpkz_screenshots". Name this pair "roatpkz_screenshots". Why do we need to do this step? Because, so far the cloud only has the kills that are already saved so far... it won't copy and paste new kill pics you make from the home directory to the One Drive so you would have to do it manually which is why I made this guide to prevent you doing that! Step 3: Schedule a task This is the last step, it basically forces the above SyncToy program to run everyday (or everytime you turn on your PC). Just open "Task Scheduler", also known as "taskschd.msc" - it's on every Windows computer. Click create basic task on the right side, then follow the wizard, when it asks which program to set a task for choose "C:\Program Files\SyncToy 2.1\SyncToyCmd.exe" and in the arguments box below type -R "roatpkz_screenshots" Step 4: URL Shortening (optional, but recommended) Now that all of the above crap is set-up nicely, we are ready to share our One Drive Public link to the world, but problem is it's very messy and long because cloud services needed to encrypt shit for security so you can't just have e.g. onedrive.com/user1/1/youdied.png, no it's got to be a long string of random letters/numbers and we want to avoid that so use any URL shortening service you like, I like the Google one, just because it's nice and simple so feed it your long link and it will spit out a tiny one! All done, put your feet up! That's it for this guide, I know it looks like a stupid as fuck method to accomplish something so easy but if you know a better way of automatically sending all your kill pics to the internet everyday without you having to do it yourself ('cuz I get so many kills you see :p) then please do tell me below. There is one possible solution using a basic batch file to do the job of synchronization which basically does the same as SyncToy without a nice looking interface so I didn't choose that method. *Note: I know this looks like a lot but it literally takes 5 minutes to do and once it's done you're set for life. The guide was sort of rushed so if you need me to go into more details for anything please do ask, I can and am willing to take screenshots of the steps if you guys wish, I just didn't bother to put that much effort in case no one cares for this. Thank you for having the balls to tell it like it is instead of dick-riding praise for irrelevant "updates" that nobody asked for. This is a PK server, and as such PKing improvements should come first before others. At least look through some of the suggestions people are adding and add some of those. Lol even Gretar liked this post! At least he has a sense of humor It's not something you hold in either. Little changes bit by bit are better than nothing at all. How about diving in there and tweaking some combat calculations until the hits better reflect the items involved. Then again you don't even play the game so no use trying to explain it to you.

Doesn't seem likely to be a "school shooter" given the fact he is past the age of school now, RS videos are his full time job. Also, based on that photo he doesn't seem the gun-toting type, which is backed up by has unwillingness to join the military when requested to do so. If he didn't want to fire a gun when he was given the opportunity to do so, why would he do it when he's not supposed to. Nah, he's better off sticking to 10 hours of killing chickens - people will tune in and and he'll get money for this shit.

That's because none of us were alive when he was in his prime. All we knew of him is what we've heard over the years, some old footage and a below-par Will Smith movie (haven't watched, seen some reviews). But apparently he was not "just a boxer" but a very intelligent and well spoken person outside the ring, and that's what made him great to so many people of his generation. Just watch some of his interviews and you'll see. But anyway, I see your point, every time someone famous dies they are brought back to the limelight for a couple of days, which is understandable, but I'll never understand how it's blown out of proportion. I'm an anti-social guy - that means I don't use social media, but I still hear of twitter trends, facebook profiles, people changing their pics to dead celebrities, etc. Why invest so much time caring about an old man who died after living with a degenerative disease for decades, when millions of people die every day and you don't bat an eyelid? Well, the first ever poll Gretar ran had a question about removing 1 mark per month and it passed, but was never implemented. Edit: Just checked that poll again and it said marks would be removed monthly if you had 1-4 marks, 5 marks is perm ban and wouldn't be undone.

If people are choosing the 100 PKP option on Vote tickets, then it devalues the PK tickets as more are brought into the game while the amount of rares doesn't increase at the same pace - this actually leads to higher prices. The effect is comparable to just printing lots of money. It's called inflation. (Basic economics)

Yes, this is true. RoatPkz is based off the "317" client which was the original 2006/7 as you say. OSRS uses a heavily modified version of that - which has already been decompiled and released, the current version is now "110" or "111" (since they restarted the version number upon OSRS release), not really following it up so much anymore though. So it would take a massive amount of work to make a 111 client compatible with this server source, especially since the current client we are using has already been highly customised itself. Would probably be better just to start off with an OSRS base server and build RoatPkz on to it from scratch. Because I see a lot of suggestions asking for OS maps/areas, OS bosses, OS items; and just having a client with these items built-in has got to be better than manually adding them one at a time. Probably the easiest option, but will take a lot of time to complete. Either way it's a tough ask so can't blame Gretar at all. As for the 2 pics Ali posted, they look almost identical graphically except for brighntess adjustments. The key difference is that the other server is using OSRS client (can tell because of BH icon on the minimap).
