Muslim just means 'one who submits to God', we believe Islam is an updated version of Christianity, which in turn was an update of Judaism (each time the message getting either lost or corrupted by the people). So that's why we believe in all the prophets such as Jesus, Moses, Noah, Adam, etc. Whilst the Arabic word "Islam" only started coming into use in the 7th century, the religion existed long before that, so technically Ahmash is correct (in accordance to our beliefs). 1 Quote
