time outz Posted June 14, 2017 Report Posted June 14, 2017 Hello ROATZ community, I am writing this thread to express the frustration when it comes to myself and I can vouch for the fact that its majority of the community as well, on how annoying it is to type ::yell everytime you need to spread a message to the whole public. My idea is to have a "hotkey" or even a literal shortcut such as "/y" that will automatically represent ::yell to the compiler. With that being said, I feel like it will be easier for people to sell items, communicate, or even talk when typing time is of the essence, like when you're getting piled in the wild and need your buddies to come hold it down. One way to go about it(just an idea as a software developer myself) - have the tab key interact the same way when replying to a private message. Meaning, that if your last message was sent in yell, hitting tab will input a ::yell command or just another instance of the ::yell function itself. As previously mentioned, even a literal would be helpful. Typing "/y" or even something of that similar length is way less tedious of typing ::yell every time. This I think would be beneficial because it literally takes 2 seconds to add, and saves us having to press "shift + ;;" together Quote
