Popular Post Salad Posted April 15, 2017 Popular Post Report Share Posted April 15, 2017 (edited) Dear players, I have been working on a new client for you guys since yesterday and I feel it is time to tell you all that has been done. Graphics: I have added a new texture system for items such as the Fire max cape, volcanic and frozen whip, lava mask, and the Donator capes. This allows us to load custom textures without overlaying current ones such as the magic tree or fountains. Ground decoration has been re enabled to give the game a better look. Memory Usage: For some players, they have been experiencing some memory performance issues while on the client. I have gone into every single file and cleaned it out. You should notice a significant change in memory when using the new client. Entitys: If there was one thing that the server lacked, it was Npcs. There were very few bosses found in game and made the game feel boring. We have added the latest osrs bosses and plan to expand the variety of bosses in the wilderness. Things such as Zulrah, Cerberus, Demonic gorillas, and raid bosses will be polled on how you want them to be put ingame. Models: Something you will notice when you log into the new client is either a bunch of nulls in your bank or tickets that have an item name. For the tickets, you will simply withdraw it from the bank and claim it. This is due to a bunch of item IDs changing while converting the client to load different data. As for custom items, they will remain the same. Miscellaneous: Things such as Tweening, shift drop, HD minimap, and resizable are being worked on as you read this. They will come later this month as we want to get the new client out to the players asap. Prayers: Raids introduced new prayers to osrs. We will be implementing them on here but are not sure of how you will obtain them. We will be making a poll for this.
